Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 May 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BetFinder.live (the “Service”), operated by JMHB LTD, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC802251) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, subscribing to, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You can contact us at [email protected].
1. What BetFinder.live is — and what it is not
BetFinder.live is an information and analytics service. It uses statistical models to compare its own estimated probabilities for sporting outcomes against publicly available bookmaker odds, and surfaces selections it identifies as potentially carrying positive expected value, together with related analysis.
BetFinder.live is not, and does not:
- It is not a bookmaker or betting operator. We do not accept, hold, place, broker, or settle bets, and we never handle stake money. You place any bets yourself, with third-party operators, entirely at your own discretion and risk.
- It is not financial, investment, or professional advice. The Service relates to gambling on sporting events. Nothing in it is regulated financial advice and it must not be treated as such.
- It is not a guarantee. We do not promise, guarantee, or represent that following any selection, recommendation, or analysis will be profitable or will avoid losses. Statistical models can be wrong. Markets move. Outcomes are uncertain by nature.
- It is not regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. Because we do not take bets or provide facilities for gambling, we are not required to hold, and do not hold, a Gambling Commission operating licence. We are an information provider only.
You acknowledge and accept that gambling carries a real risk of financial loss, that you may lose some or all of any money you stake, and that any past performance, backtest, historical record, or modelled result shown in the Service is not a reliable indicator of future results.
2. Eligibility — strictly 18+
The Service is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By using the Service you confirm that you are 18 or over. We may ask you to verify your age at any time and may suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe this requirement is not met.
The Service is intended for use in jurisdictions where accessing betting information and placing bets is lawful. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, and any betting you choose to do, is legal in your location. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available outside the United Kingdom.
3. Responsible gambling
We want you to stay in control. Please only ever bet with money you can afford to lose, never chase losses, and set yourself limits. If gambling is causing you difficulty, free, confidential help is available:
- BeGambleAware — www.begambleaware.org
- National Gambling Helpline — 0808 8020 133 (free, 24/7), run by GamCare
- GAMSTOP — www.gamstop.co.uk (free national self-exclusion scheme)
If you choose to self-exclude from gambling, please also stop using BetFinder.live. You can close your account at any time (see section 9).
4. Accounts
To use most features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use. You must not share, resell, or transfer your account.
5. Subscriptions, payment and renewals
Some features require a paid subscription. Current prices and plan details are shown at the point of purchase.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (e.g. monthly or annually) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, end your current paid period (see section 6).
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will give reasonable advance notice of any price change, and it will not affect a period you have already paid for.
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase unless stated otherwise.
6. Cancellation, refunds and your statutory rights
BetFinder.live provides digital content and services supplied immediately. By subscribing and accessing the Service, you expressly request that we begin supplying it straight away and you acknowledge that, once supply has begun, you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to the extent the Service has been provided.
Subject to that:
- You may cancel auto-renewal at any time. You will retain access until the end of the current paid period, after which the subscription ends.
- We do not generally provide refunds for partial billing periods or for periods already started, except where required by law or where we choose to at our discretion (for example, if the Service was materially unavailable due to our fault).
- Nothing in these Terms removes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a service carried out with reasonable care and skill. If the Service does not conform with those rights, you may be entitled to a repeat performance or a price reduction.
To request a refund or raise a billing issue, email [email protected].
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service if you are under 18 or where it is unlawful for you to do so;
- copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or commercially exploit the Service’s selections, data, models, or output, including operating your own tipster or signal service from it;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate our models or underlying data;
- access the Service by automated means (bots, scrapers) except as we expressly permit;
- interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any third party’s rights or any bookmaker’s terms.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this section.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, models, content, branding, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. BetFinder.live selections and analysis are provided for your individual use only and may not be redistributed.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time via your account settings or by emailing [email protected].
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where we discontinue a paid Service entirely, we will provide a fair refund of any prepaid amount covering the period after discontinuation.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions, and representations not expressly set out in these Terms, including any implied warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
In particular, and without limiting section 1, we make no warranty as to the accuracy of any odds, probability, model output, selection, or result, or that any selection will be profitable. Sporting outcomes are inherently uncertain and you bet entirely at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including certain liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any betting losses, lost stakes, lost winnings, or lost opportunity arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service. You alone decide whether and how much to bet.
- We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill.
- Our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the total amount you paid us for the Service in that period.
12. Third parties
The Service may reference or link to third-party bookmakers, data providers, or websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, odds, availability, terms, or conduct. Any dealings you have with them are solely between you and them.
13. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of Scotland. The Scottish courts will have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
